The viewer above features the book cover: front cover and dust jacket—two different versions, including a version—the third and fourth images in the sequence of four cover images above—in which I dare to inset my selfie on the front cover (of a book about architectural theory, no less). In the spirit of Cubist painter Georges Braque who said that "art is meant to disturb" (ideally, in a constructive and positive way), I seek to create an unexpected Form & Story Visual Ef9ect.
A book cover (front, back, and dust jacket) is a primary cultural example of what I call The Aesthetic & Symbolic Rectangle: the basis of art, whether concrete, canvas, page, or (what you're looking at here) screen . . .
